Hi, my name is Rani. I'm a male white and cinnamon Podenco Type and I'm 4 years old. I'm a medium/large sized dog. I'm 90cm from nose to tail and 70cm tall, and I weigh 25.00kg . I'm neutered. I'm good with other dogs and children. The team here are still getting to know me and don't yet know how I get along with cats. But I love to meet new friends and I'll be getting socialised with them soon so we'll keep you posted. I've had my vaccinations and have my chip and passport so I'm ready to travel to a new forever home in Spain, or (unless otherwise mentioned) anywhere in Europe.

I was found by a kind man when I was foraging at some waste bins. I hadn't eaten a proper meal for ages and was so thin and boney that he took pity on me. He came to feed me and after I while, as my trust in him grew, I got into his car and he took me home. He fed me and took care of me. I was grateful for regular food and a bed I can tell you. However I was unable to stay so moved into boarding kennels which are really nice. I love to go for walks and play with other dogs. I tend to chase cats, although never caught one so probably would be better in a home without cats. I am a happy, affectionate and gentle boy and really enjoy being with people despite having been discarded in the past and think that I will be best suited in a home where people are around most of the time. I walk well on the lead now that I have got used to wearing one. I am now living in the house as all the boarders have gone and I can really appreciate the home comforts!! I can be very playful sometimes to the extent that people think I am younger than the 4 years estimated initially as I am so bouncy!! On the other hand, I can be calm, obedient a restful. I think I will make a lovely pet for someone who understands me. I will need a little more training, but am intelligent and quite excited at the prospect of having a loving home where I can learn new things and stay forever. Please give me a chance, you won't regret it.
