Hi, my name is Rani. I'm a male white and cinnamon Podenco Type and I'm 4 years old. I'm a medium/large sized dog. I'm 90cm from nose to tail and 70cm tall, and I weigh 25.00kg . I'm neutered. I'm good with other dogs and children but would do best in a home without cats. I've had my vaccinations and have my chip and passport so I'm ready to travel to a new forever home in Spain, or (unless otherwise mentioned) anywhere in Europe.

I was found by a kind man when I was foraging at some waste bins. I hadn't eaten a proper meal for ages and was so thin and boney that he took pity on me. He came to feed me and after I while, as my trust in him grew, I got into his car and he took me home. He fed me and took care of me. I was grateful for regular food and a bed I can tell you. However I was unable to stay, so moved into boarding kennels which are really nice and I live in the house with the owners now the boarders have gone. I really enjoy the home comforts! I am a healthy boy, house-trained and well behaved and very tolerant with the other dogs that I am sharing the home with. I love to go for walks and play with them. I tend to chase cats, although never caught one so probably would be better in a home without cats. I am a happy, affectionate and gentle boy and really enjoy being with people despite having been discarded in the past. I think that I will be best suited in a home where people are around most of the time. I walk well on the lead now that I have got used to wearing one. I can be very playful sometimes to the extent that people think I am younger than the 4 years estimated initially! On the other hand, I can be calm, obedient and restful. I think I will make a lovely pet for someone who understands me. I may need a little more training, but am intelligent and quite excited at the prospect of having a loving home where I can learn new things and stay forever. Please give me a chance, you won't regret it.
