Hi, my name is Olivia. I'm a female white and brown coloured Mastin Type Breed and I'm 3 years old. I'm a large sized dog. I'm 107cm from nose to tail and 67cm tall. I'm neutered. I'm good with other dogs but the team here are still getting to know me and don't yet know how I get along with cats or children. But I love to meet new friends and I'll be getting socialised with them soon and we'll keep you posted. I've had my vaccinations and have my chip and passport so I'm ready to travel to a new forever home in Spain, or (unless otherwise mentioned) anywhere in Europe.

I was discovered living in an olive grove but was too timid to be caught. Local volunteers came every day to feed me until one day I was caught and brought to the lovely kennels. I was there for a while and learned so much. It felt good to be safe, have lots of doggy pals around and know that you are going to get fed. I had my own shelter with a comfortable bed. The people were very kind and helped my confidence in people and other dogs so that I don’t feel scared any more. I have just moved into a foster home, which is the first time I have lived in a proper home. I have a foster mum and dad and Django, a big mastin boy, to play with and show me the ropes! I am a big girl, but don’t let that put you off giving me a forever home as I’m told that I’m very gentle.

I have learned to walk on a lead and have started going out for walks with my fosterers and Django. Whilst in the kennels I became acquainted with some of the cats that live there, although they were on the other side of the fencing and I did sometimes go nose to nose so that I can have a sniff (they don't smell the same as dogs!) but I think I would be fine in a home where there was a cat (if it liked me) and introduction was carefully done!

I think I would like to live in a foster home for a while to see what it’s like being in a home and so that it’s not too much of a change when I finally find my forever home.
