What Our Volunteers Say

"I have volunteered in the AAR Shop for over a year now on Friday's. I really enjoy it. I work with a fabulous friendly team led by Maria Woods. We all have a laugh and fun but still take our roles seriously and remember the help needed for the animals. We meet some amazing people from all countries. Some real local characters who visit every week. We get to practise our Spanish too.

I find it very rewarding and would recommend it to anyone who has the time and likes to work in a team. It's a privilege to work amongst this hard working caring Charity." - Shirley Fry

"Working in the shop is rewarding in different ways. You know you are helping animals at the same time improving your Spanish, you see so many different people and always have a laugh with customers and fellow volunteers. And you can always grab a bargain as there is such a good selection of clothes" - Steph Powell

"I find working in the shop rewarding, always nice to help out in relaxed surroundings with a nice group of people. Hopefully raise some money for the animals too!!" - Pete Kent
