I was one of the Eroski pups found near the supermarket in 2015. I was adopted in 2015 by an English lady who was visiting Spain and she fell in love with me and became my mum. She took me to live in England where we stayed for a while and then she brought me back to Spain where we have been living. Unfortunately she has developed some health issues resulting in her becoming disabled. She has to return to the UK for an operation after all this virus stuff is over, but will not be able to cope. As I am a big, energetic girl she is unable to give me the exercise I need and so I now have to find a new forever home. She is disabled and has a mobility scooter to take me out for walks and at the moment I trot alongside her on my lead when she takes me out. After her operation in the UK it won't be possible for her to do this.
I am very loving, and really enjoy being with people but have not lived with children or other dogs, and I'm usually ok with other dogs in open spaces, but I am not happy being in a confined space with them. I would also need a home without cats as I am a hunter and it's likely I would chase them. I love to go on long walks and am good on the lead, especially when I whizz along next to the mobility scooter!! I know my mum will find it hard to part with me, but she says it will be better for me in the long run.
As the current lockdown situation is relaxing, my mum is going to take me to meet another dog on their own territory to see how I get on. My problem is that I don't like other dogs coming into my home, so will keep you posted!
