Meet Rio, one of our external cases
Click on an image to enlarge the picture or play the videoI'm sure that you will recall Rio (AAR 2210) who was found collapsed and terribly emaciated.
At 12 years plus old, Rio has quite a few health challenges including being deaf and almost blind, high leish, Vestibular Syndrome, liver problems and a life time of utter neglect and hardship.
So many people have helped Rio so far and I'm DELIGHTED to announce to the world that Rio has moved into Permanent Foster. He has the most loving and amazing home with wonderful people and doggies.
Permanent Foster is an option for some of our very, very special needs cases. It basically means that you commit to the animal for their life as you would if you adopted, but AAR continue to provide life long support, vet treatment, meds, food and whatever else is needed.
Rio has already found his favourite spot next to the fire along with his new sister and will spend his days pottering around and being smothered with love.
