Available to foster or adopt

Hi, my name is Frank. I'm a male cinnamon Podenco Cross and I'm 22 months old. I'm a medium sized dog. I weigh 11.00kg . I'll be neutered as soon as I've settled in. The team here are still getting to know me and don't yet know how I get along with other dogs, cats or children. I'll be getting socialised with them soon and we'll keep you posted. I'll be getting my rabies vaccination, chip and passport soon.

We were alerted to a very very skinny Podenco in desperate need of help. A lovely lady had been feeding him for a few days but could not get close enough to catch him. Our AAR team went to assess the situation and quickly saw that this was very urgent. We sat with him for ages gaining his trust and feeding him frankfurters - hence his name FRANK!
The next day we were back with the full rescue team and the dog trap.Frank watched us setting up from a distance, every time he came close to the trap a car or a motorbike would whiz past - so frustrating for the team! The trap was loaded with Tripe which most dogs find irresistible.
Frank wanted that food - he was all around the trap, back, front, side and then suddenly he couldn't resist it any more and in he went!! Job done!! What a relief. Now Frank's journey really starts. He is a gentle, sweet natured boy. He's just learning to trust humans and play with other dogs and walks on the lead.
Frank is a gorgeous podenco and he has the most incredible green podenco eyes that see straight into your very heart.

Frank is now searching for his forever home or foster home. He is 22 months old male Podenco Cross. Frank is now in a kennel where he is fed well and he is putting on some weight. And now Frank is settling in with his friend dogs in the kennel, playing together in the playground and most importantly getting well looked after and having all his vaccinations sorted too.
Frank is starting to trust humans & accept their presence around him as well as other dogs. He is a beautiful dog who needs lots of care, love and attention.
Would you or someone you know be able to offer Frank their home to live with them as fostered or better be an adopted dog? Please email us at if you want to help Frank who is desperate to hear some good news.
