Available to adopt

Hi, my name is Chiquilin. I'm a male negro fuego Mixed Bodeguero Podenco and I'm 2 years old. I'm a small/medium sized dog. I'm 55cm from nose to tail and 43cm tall, and I weigh 14.00kg . I'll be neutered as soon as I've settled in. I'm good with other dogs and children. The team here are still getting to know me and don't yet know how I get along with cats. But I love to meet new friends and I'll be getting socialised with them soon so we'll keep you posted. I'll be getting my rabies vaccination, chip and passport soon.

Chiqüilin is a two years old, black and white Bodeguero-Podenco mixed breed dog. Chiqüilin is a sociable, affectionate and very active dog. He socialises well with both dogs and people. He loves the field and playing with other dogs.
Chiqüilin was a dog that took care of horses, but the day came when the horses were sold and Chiqüilin stayed in the field with other dogs. He lived with his father and another dog, but he always escaped. He always walked through the same neighbourhoods of Velez-Málaga, where everyone knew him for his friendly and affectionate character.
Miguelin, Negrete, Rodolfo were some of the names that the people who knew him by or had given him ... Until one day he began to walk along the street where a lovely lady in Velez-Málaga. He was tired of walking to find food and love, he needed the warmth of a family and he found that comfort with this lady and her family. He began to sleep at their front door, so they walked him, socialised with their dog to a point they allowed him to enter their home.
From that moment this kind family started to look for a family to adopt or foster him through their friends and neighbours.
This happy change in the life of Chiqüilin did not last long as the family's dog started disliking him and made it difficult for the family to keep Chiqüilin with them for long term. And now he is kept in separate places to avoid any further problems between the dogs. This is proving to be quite stressful to the family hence they will foster Chiqüilin until AAR finds him a permanent home where he can stay and share his life with a family who can offer him unconditional love and security.
While living with the family, Chiqüilin has been checked by the vet and given worming and flea tablets. The health check up shows he is a very healthy dog with no microchip.
Very soon, Chiqüilin will start his vaccination, get a microchip and passport to prepare him for adoption so he can go anywhere in Europe or in Spain.
