Available to adopt

Hi, my name is Jack. I'm a male white with dark brown patches Podenco/bodeguero Type and I'm 19 months old. I'm a small/medium sized dog. I'm 78cm from nose to tail and 47cm tall, and I weigh 11.00kg . I'll be neutered as soon as I've settled in. I'm good with other dogs and cats. The team here are still getting to know me and don't yet know how I get along with children. But I love to meet new friends and I'll be getting socialised with them soon so we'll keep you posted. I've had my vaccinations and have my chip and passport so I'm ready to travel to a new forever home in Spain, or (unless otherwise mentioned) anywhere in Europe.

I was rescued by a kind lady called Chris on a cold day in January, I was extremely emaciated and very dirty. Chris asked AAR for help and I was taken to the vet, I must admit I was apprehensive and scared at first. The vet’s initial checks and tests showed that I was still a young boy, but clear of disease. Someone had cut my tail in a horrible way which means I have a lump on it but it doesn’t cause me pain anymore. I was given a lovely warm bath, flea treatment as a precaution and wormed.

I wanted to tell the kind people that I had been a pet before which is why I am so friendly, but I think they will work it out.

I was now ready for some home comfort, and my next guardian angel called Shaz came along to take me into foster home.

I really like it here. I have two doggie friends to keep me company and let me know what’s what, I have a lovely soft bed and Shaz gives me cuddles and is feeding me regular meals to help me put weight on. I yearn affection and I know that Shaz and my new friends will help me forget my past.

Keep updated with my progress, I will soon be ready for my forever home, just a little bit of time now to recover and show you my true character.
