Meet Trippel, one of our external cases
Click on an image to enlarge the picture or play the videoTrippel was found in Riogordo campo by one of AAR’s Dutch volunteers. He was very thin & hungry, and looking for scraps of food near her house, so she gave him a little meal. He was wet and dirty because of the rainy weather. She made him a little warm tent and bed in her garden which he loved and went in right away.
Trippel went into kennels and was found to be deaf.He also started snapping at the air and being very distressed. He has undergone numerous tests, MRI scan and is finally stable on medication. He is in an experienced foster home and has made amazing progress. He is much calmer and very happy with his doggy siblings. He has regular reviews with a consultant and daily medication.
Trippel has to be rehomed with a loving family that has experience with deaf dogs and another doggy sibling as he copes better with other dogs around him to learn from. His foster carer says he is a super affectionate and very loving boy.
