Rocky - not ready for homing yet. Found covered in blood. Emergency vet visit, showed he had been shot at close range with what we can only assume was a shotgun - multiple pellets inside. 12kg underweight, covered in ticks and fleas, collar so tight it had to be cut off. Despite all this, Rocky seems to be a very loving and trusting dog, approximately 5 years old. It will take some time for his wounds to heal, and for us to assess him - you can follow his story on our facebook group over the next few days.

Rocky's wound is healing nicely and some of the pellets have started to come out but still loads under the skin!! However he is improving slowly every day due the great care of his foster. He has a long way yet for a complete recovery but he will start looking for another foster home shortly.
