Zyra turned up at her finders home, cold, wet and extremely hungry. No one know's what this dogs life was like pre rescue but she was so very nervous. She was so scared she wouldn't go into the house and when approached she backed off. She is now with a very experienced foster carer, receiving regular food, love and a nice warm bed to sleep in.
Zyra is now a very happy confident girl when at home. She enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home. When out on walks she has improved greatly and no longer hides away when people pass by, however, when she see's other dogs she can be reactive towards them. Most occasions she is absolutely fine and plays with other dogs on the beach but on very rare occasions, when she is on lead, she will react. We are taking advise from a dog behaviourist in an attempt to correct this behaviour.
Given time, patience and love Zyra will make a loving addition to any home.
If you would like to meet Zyra and live local to the Axarquia region of Southern Spain, this can be arranged.
