Coco is a cuddly, loyal boy who loves to play with toys and brings a smile to his fosterers every day with his super-expressive house-elf ears and his funny little ways. He loves the simple life - exploring the countryside and paddling in streams. He's good with other dogs, but he has waited so long for his forever home that he'd be happiest if he didn't have to share his new owners with other pets.
His fosterers wrote the following letter to him, hoping it will help him to finally find that special place in someone's heart which he craves:

Dear COCO,
As we near the 1 year anniversary of your rescue, we want to share with you our experience of being your foster parents in hopes that a forever home will experience you as we do. How do we love thee? Let us count the ways:

1. your recall
2. the little kink near the end of your tail
3. the way you like being 'tucked in' at bedtime
4. how you learned the 'sit' command the first session and in under 20 minutes
5. how you come alive in the river, either wading or chasing a particular stone
6. how loyal you are
7. how you will leave a single vegetable in your food bowl - as if to send a message?
8. the way you love and obsess over balls, toys and anything you deem 'yours'
9. how deeply you want to please us, and I presume your future forever family too
10. how you enjoy your own bed and alone time
11. your chocolate brown coat
12. how you shimmy while sitting as you anticipate your food bowl coming down to floor level
13. how much you love cuddles
14. and lastly, how you convey you'd prefer to be an only child even while patiently living with our other dogs

For all of these reasons and more, we love you and want you to find the best forever home. Live long and prosper dear Coco. May you find your forever home soon. Ian & Denise
